The Westside Community Center (WCC) is a learning center for all citizens of Comal County and a result of a multifaceted collaboration overstretching religious, socio-economic and political boundaries.

The WCC is owned by the First Presbyterian Church of New Braunfels, Texas and is managed within a long-term lease by The Institute for Public Health and Education Research Inc. (TIPHER), a non-profit organization. To the satisfaction of the mission statement of TIPHER the WCC is, first and foremost, a place of learning; a “hub” for a variety of services in Comal County, Texas. To that end, the motto of the WCC is:
“A Need Perceived…Becomes Our Opportunity”

Our vision is to improve the quality of life for all citizens by addressing public health needs and critical education issues.
